I had thought I blogged the other day, but it has been almost a week. I guess cause I read other peoples blogs often, that I think I am writing often too. I am not sure what I was wanting to blog about, but I am sure I can ramble on for a bit.
I am trying to find a car right now - and it is so difficult. I am not picky at all - the opposite of picky. I don't care about anything, as long as it runs! Most difficult is the no money to pay for it, but I seem to be always able to find some somewhere. I am resourceful in that way, or a weasle. I finally test drove a few this past week, and found 1 I like. I also called insurance and priced it, and I could afford to pay that. So it was all seeming to be a positive car experience until reality stepped back into the picture. The money givers had other car suggestions. I also enjoy how the loaners of the money feel they are entitled to say how the money is spent. Loansharks can be a bitch. Now the generous givers of the green, want me to buy within the family - which I am dead against. I hate to find fault in the car, and be mad at the owner, cause I always see it as their fault. I also don't think this person took good care of the car, and would rather not buy an older, high milage car to be supportive. Don't have money to fix engine problems to be supportive. As well, I inquired about the car when it first went up for sale, 6 months ago, and was denied in some aspects - so screw them!
Well that was more of a rant than a ramble, but whatever. I know there are tons of cars out there, and I have a month or so to keep looking, but this is one area where I feel procrastination is going to burn me. A gut feeling that I may get screwed!
So.......what else is new??? Well, My brother may come for a visit this weekend, or I am pressuring him into it. He is waiting for the strike news to see if there is school Monday. I am in strike envy. Ohhh to have a few days off. Or I would be stressing. Probably stressing.
It is supposed to be warm here this weekend, well, if 8C is warm. and rainy! Happy about the rain - it equals the loss of snow. I am generally a fan of snow, but this time of year it is no longer pretty and white, but a compacted cold brown lump, with bits of dirty garbage stuck in it. Time for it to go.
That should do it for a few days. Happy warm temperatures to all.

i'm in the process of finding a new (used) car too. i hate processes, they bug me. looking for apartments, buying anything expensive... i really wished sometimes that i was just independently wealthy so i wouldn't have to go through processes... i could just buy something and not worry about thinking about it.
then again... i really hate when i have that type of consumer culture mentality.
anyways, good luck with your car buying. happy warm temps!
Good luck with the car purchase. I wish there was a strike that effected me too. I have a couple of friends who work for colleges as counsellors and they have literally nothing to do but they still have to go to work. Guess they chit chat and take extended lunches.

Hahaha... I like how you described the "loansharks" as giving you problems. Well, I hope that you can convince them that you can get a much better deal outside the family.
Hope that you have a good weekend with the bro. Hmmm, as far as I've read there seems to be no movement on the strike front. Has the strike affect your access to your school at all?
I will send your regards to everyone at dinner and demand gossip for Sandee from each person in attendance.
Car hunts are a bitch! Maybe explain to your "loadsharks" (tee hee) exactly what you explained here...about possible future problems and how you wouldn't be able to cope with that financially. Hopefully the "LSs" will be understanding and know that you know what is best for you. Good luck! :)
