My dad always gives this line in one form or another near the end of the year. I don't think he remembered when we left his place this time so I may have to call and tell him that I'll talk to him next year.
2011 was a brilliant year for me. Better than the year of George!
I started the year off with some changes to my job and I am happy about going back to what I left there. I transitioned into a mom and really enjoyed this year with the baby. My husband also transitioned back to working in Canada and we finally got to live together full time.
I kept my resolutions for this year as well. I think the key to success this time around was to make them easy and vague. Can't fail with loose parameters.
I wanted to be more conscious of what went into my body and I wanted more me time. I really did make the effort to drink more water throughout the year and I also watched what I ate MOST of the time as I am still eating for the baby. I tried to choose healthy first and make the effort to bring better food into the house. The me time that I wanted to incorporate into the year was laughed at by many, but I succeeded. I didn't need it to be alone time, which was the loop hole for the baby, but it had to be time spent doing things I enjoyed. I enjoy nature, photography, the garden, cooking, and being creative. All of these things the baby was exposed to and will hopefully enjoy as well.
I am working on my 2012 resolutions and will blog them when I have the list finalized.
Wishing all those who blog and share there thoughts a wonderful 2012.
