wrapping up the unwrap

...and that was Christmas. So much build up, so much fuss and it is all over. Very similar to a big meal. Hours of prep for minutes of enjoyment.
The holidays were good, and less taxing than I originally anticipated, which was good. Always good when you plan for low key and they turn out just slightly intense. The holidays are usually a killer for me. I am heading back to my own home tomorrow morning and will have 4.5 days off to rest, return to my own routine and tackle a few of my own to do's.
Back to the grind on the 4th of Jan....which is a nice number to start on.....2 months later on the 4th of March I am done work for a year. 2 months seems tolerable, especially with a very busy schedule set 7 of the 8 weeks.
As of today....it is just over 4 weeks until the boy returns! :)
