I feel like this is the last quiet weekend for a while. I am doing my best to rest and relax, as once today is over, it is back to the hectic and unruly workplace followed by an even more hectic and unruly adventure home. I do like going home, don't get me wrong, but I am 100% out of routine down there in every sense of the word and find the mass visits and constant busy schedule exhausting at the best of times. I chose to go for 5 days this time. The number of days never seem to matter as my family finds something for each day regardless if I am down for 2 or 3000. I think so far I have day 1 with dad and extended fam, day 2 with dad and sibling, day 3 with mom and sibling, day 4 with mom, extended fam and high school friends, and then day 5 with dad, extended fam and university friend and the blessed day 6 is a drive back home. I am hoping the weather man is good while I am gone so I don't come home to a lot of shoveling.
I know the agenda for today includes some light shovel work, a wee bit of cleaning due to am construction and then perhaps a delicious nap.....or maybe I will start with that nap.

Is it bad that I know university friend refers to me...and not only that but that we both only need to use the singular version of friend when refering to this university? haha

Yay for time with high school friends. You can always book more time with us to get out of family time! I tend to think that time with me is always relaxing. ;)
