i think i am back to the blogging world. i am heading back to my much needed and usual routine and feel like this fits again. my summer was just not fitting to keep up with being active on the blog front. i didn't really do much, in fact, i took the summer off from everything, but i relaxed, found a way to unwind and took a few deep breathes. i honestly cannot remember the last time i really took time for me. it took me the better part of the summer to let go and stop volunteering for things, in order to actually rest and allow myself to have the down time i clearly needed. so, after 7 weeks of r&r i am ready for another and possibly final year of being a student. how many times has that last statement been said?? this masters degree could possibly be the end for me, except for additional qualifications that are slightly out of my control. i still have high hopes for that doctorate degree, but that is a little to far in the distance to try to focus on right now.
so.....what did i do with this summer off (you were not asking, but i will share anyways)? I spent a few weeks right after school trying to find something to do with myself. i caught up on some tv, slept in and felt bored. i wondered why and how i would spend this summer without a job and without set plans. this is what i look back on as a stage of relaxation. i needed to get through this need for doing things. I spent some time with family and friends and then hit the highlight of my summer. i went on a vacation to the east coast, specifically NB and PEI. The vacation was amazing. I don't see the b/f often as he works 8 months of the year out of the country, so a vacation together was a perfect end to the summer.

This is the dinner date to an amazing restaurant in North Bay. A very good find

Yay! A new post. I was thinking that you'd prolly do one around back to school time.
I'll just let you know that AQ courses don't count towards student life. They are just very very pesky. My next one starts in October. Woo-hoo. :(
Great pictures. Glad that you had a good summer and didn't have to work and had time for yourself.
Cute pics!!! Man, 8 months out of the year? I have a newfound respect for you! Long distance is so hard, I'm so glad you guys are making it work! :)
