updates from ratford

I am now 1/2 way through week two of three. Kinda getting excited to go back to the bay. I absolutly love being in the classroom, but I miss my own stuff, and my own place, and school for me as well. As great as it is coming back home for a few weeks, my family and I have very different lifestyles now.

I went to the mall a few nights ago - I don't think I have been to the mall here in years. It was sad looking now, and not as great as it once was when I used to go there while on spare in highschool. My highlight was that there was a new (large) dollar store that took interac. You know the mall has gone down hill when that is a highlight.

I had a chuckle in class today - - the class had an officer in for an hour today working on a substance awareness program with the kids. He comes once a week - and leaves a question box for the students. One of the students asked through this method if he could handcuff the teacher. He looked over at her and she blushed.....made me laugh a lot - guess she has dealt with the law before (insert winks here).

Lesson planning in the Nipissing format with not only be the death of me, but I may take others when I go. I cannot wait till I am done this term and we can get to a shorter version.

Speaking of which - I best stop the procrastination now, before I become too distracted.
