move over michael

The bay has had a peek musical moment. I have been blessed since I moved here with 2 unfine radio stations, where as most of you know I could choose michael bolton or 80's dirt rock. Well michael - - it is time to move over. We have a new station in town fighting for the air waves, and may the best crap win. This new station got me..... >>>> well it got me excited. I was sure someone had noticed the error in music choices, and was going to bring in something sweet. It is not sweet - - it is tragic. There had been an error, and yes, someone did notice it - - the error was that we had to flick back and forth between our 2 stations, so someone combined the worst shit from both to play on one new HIT station. I yell up to the sky WHY GOD WHY, and then remeber I use God for school, he is not helping me with this one, I assume he yells back - BUY A CD, AND STOP BEING CHEAP!

My jobs are still there. I had 4, added another for some overlap time, then back to 4, and very very soon 3. I will be down to working what some might consider a normal 40 hr week, instead of the 70 or so i was working. In celebration i decided to nap and slept through going to work tonight. I guess I can certianly get used to this extra freetime I will have on my hands.

School sent me an update on my placement for the first stunt of playing teacher. I am being placed in what I told them was my hometown in a school that a friend works at. I have mixed emotions with this one. I see this friend very rarely, and I am a different person behind closed class doors. I hope she understands that the teacher I play is actually me in real life, but I will fake nice after school is over and go for a drink. ............I thought I would update her on my placement and ask about my new teacher/evaluator/ass I will kiss for grades. She tells me the women is very nice and that she sees us getting along well. This excites me (easily excited), what excites me much less is that she knew I was going to her school for months now, and that this teacher had been asking about me, asking if anyone could give me a reference........and this FRIEND never told me about what has possibly been the most important part of my life thus far.
sorry b/f >> you rate too.
At least she admitted to knowing me, but would not give a reference for me, as she said she knew me on a personal level, and not proffesional......I guess I can accept that - - but there will be pay back.

lol, payback is a bitch sometimes. :)

I'm surrounded by nothing but crappy radio stations here. So much so, I will turn it off and listen to nothing before I listen to their crappy music. :)

ahhhh... michael bolton.

Michael Bolton: Yeah, well at least your name isn't Michael Bolton.

Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.

Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys.

Samir: Hmm... well why don't you just go by Mike instead of Michael?

Michael Bolton: No way. Why should I change? He's the one who sucks.

it's sad that there are only a couple more weeks left of summer vacation, but now that you have less work... i hope you enjoy your free time.

lol at Jason's reference to Office Space.

Okay - I will make you some CDs when I'm back from the old country and am in possession of a new computer. You will be saved from Mikey Bolton, plus you'll understand some of the bands that I babble about on my blog.

I cannot believe that she didn't tell you either. Sigh.

I'm sure that you will have a fabulous placemnt. Make sure you visit my graduation picture sometime.

I usually only listen to the iPod in the car if I'm looking for music. If not I'm a news/talk lady (LOL, and yes, I'm 25). We have some decent stations in Montreal, it just depends on your tastes.

After much consideration, I thought I might speak to the this so called "friend" to see if the story was as it was told only to discover that this friend actually did not know you were going to do a placement at her school and that when she was asked about you she did give you a great reference but did not feel that she could comment on your employment/teaching history because she had never worked with you. I think you might want to get the story straight before posting a comment publicly.
