pour some sugar on me

My first April post - getting closer to spring, and all the snow melting.

I was driving (passengering) to school this morning at the bright hour of 8:00am - this is ridiculously early for me, and to my surprise and shock Def Leperd came over the radio station. Normally 80's mullet rock so early in the morning would have me switching stations, but I am blessed with only 2 in North Bay, and my other alternative was the easy rock of Michael Bolton. Now I do not want to come across as if I do not enjoy this song, but it has its place and time, and this morning was neither of those. I think my mornings require me to ease in a little before I pour the sugar.

I must state for the record that I had no April foolsing done on me, OR I am still unaware that I have been fooled, making me more of a fool for this statement.

This is my last week of classes. I am officially done at 9:30 pm on Wednesday - then exams start - so the excitement will be kept to a minimum for now. My last assignment is also due tomorrow (I am not done yet, or I wouldn't be blogging), and I am in great shape for getting it done early in the evening. I have about 1 hour of tweaking the 3rd draft before the final print.

This is another one of those moments where I like to confirm that I am not alone on an issue, that I am not so weird, people could point and stare. I have a strange obsession with joggers (the pants, not the people) and I need to be in them whenever possible. I dress normal for the outside worlds viewing, but once I am home, and I mean as soon as I walk in the door, I am changing into joggers. I own several pairs, but I tend to wear only 1 pair, and for a good week at a time without washing them. They are GAP fleece joggers - gray. Here's the part where others saying me too, would be nice. I wear them so often that the knees form into my joggers, so that even when I walk around there is still a very visible knee formation. My standing leg has a hump at the knee. This favorite pair is starting to resist the urge to form back into its original shape when washed.

Well that's it for the beginning of the week.......updates to come> interview on Wednesday, and dog hair cut on Thursday. The suspense may kill you!

Best of luck with the paper and the upcoming exams. I don't think that I have ever written three drafts of anything. Impressive.

lol Your posts make me laugh so hard. First with your forced choice between Def Leppard and Michael Bolotn and then witht the comment "I think my mornings require me to ease in a little before I pour the sugar."

Then, if I wasn't laughing hard enough, you regale me with your jogging pants that stand on your own. Ooh... if you love joggers, I got a pair of Olympic ones from the Bay (they were on sale after the Olympics) and they're so comfy. They're my new faves.

Later!

Keep the funny posts coming, although it doesn't take much for you. You have a knack for making me laugh.

I need lots of it now. I can't wait for you to be done exams, I will travel up there for some mullet and muffin hunting. Not that I like that, more to laugh and point.

Good luck with exams, again, I will be sending smart brain waves...
