Sometimes a little rain can be a good thing. Sure, you can't hang out on the back deck, but it also means you can be inside. Sometimes this is the lesser of two evils. At this moment it is. Cryptic ??- I suppose so, but I can't always write for the reader.....this blog is about me after all.
I am going to meet up with some profs from my B.Ed program tonight. We have stayed in touch since the program and try to meet up for drinks a few times a year. Last time it was breakfast in a small cafe, so tonight it is drink(s). I am still limited to just the one. It is always an amazing feeling to have some high level intellectual conversation about topics I really enjoy. I leave those nights mentally rejuvenated and eager to continue my quest to do good with my degree(s). I should use at least one of them before I expire and I have yet to use any. The trifecta is only useful if used.
In random news, my iPhone died and sad little death. God it breaks my heart. Stupid toilets!
I put it in a bag of rice right away to try and save it but no luck. Perhaps basmati is not the saving kind? I am now working on a swindling deal with Bell. Bell is the equivalent of the devil in phone companies. I am trading what little soul I may have left for a touch screen, mac compatible phone. I am just hoping Bell will take my deal.....or my bluff to leave them may have to become reality and I will have to actually go looking for a new company and a phone. Balls!

I am sorry about your phone! That would suck. I know how you feel 'cuz I washed my first iPod and it became toast. :(
If you ever feel the need to talk teaching, I'm always around. Of course, I am turning into a gnarled veteran who has lost much of her idealism. Maybe it's best to talk to your newbie friends. I find it's good for me to have student teachers because it reminds me of who I used to be.
Of course, I do have my lovely grade 10s who keep my passion alive. Thank God for them.
