there have been so many comment worthy articles in this paper lately, but i particularly enjoyed this one.
i am usually offended by the slap on the wrist most criminals get these days and felt that if only the punishment were more severe, maybe the crimes would reduce in number. Well, after reading this article, I will never , ever steal 5$.

I thought the jail time was heavy, but the DNA sample, probation and community service to boot, will basically ensure my walking on the law abiding side of the line from here on.

That might be the funniest thing I've read in a while. I will forever obey the law, at least up in your neck of the province.
