so much randomness, so little time

I have been so busy lately, yet I feel like I never do anything. Well I guess I never do anything I need to get done. The dishes have officially piled to their max point.....I really need to get these tackeled. I hate them so much. If I were not so environmentally minded (or poor), I would use paper plates all summer.

I finally met the guy downstairs. He has lived in my building for a year with me, and I finally made conversation.....well, I left him a note. There are only 3 apts in the building, and we park beside each other so there was ample opportunity to meet and greet, but I always thought and nicknamed him "the weird guy downstairs". It turns out that he was in the program I am going into, and left him a note to buy his old books from him. He called up and I went to see what he had......turns out he has a name, and is quite personable. We chatted teacher talk for over an hour. I was actually sad then to hear he was moving out. I guess I judged that book by its cover very incorrectly. Live and learn.

I have found that since I spend the majority of my days alone that I have started doing things I wouldn't if others bared witness. I have started drinking directly from the juice container. I am not sure if this is mostly because there have not been clean glasses in a while, or I am just that lazy. Maybe a little of both. I still feel slightly embarrased every time - cause I know it is wrong....I am sure that feeling will pass with time. It is sad, cause it is so the thing I would lecture on if I saw someone else doing it.

The girl I work with was in a tourch run today for the special olympics in Sudbury next weekend. She is really excited about this track meet. I hope she does well, she has worked very hard to get there. I envy the passion she puts into her life.

IN VAIN NEWS
I got my nails done....acrylics are the best...ya there are a pain to maintain, but they look so girly and hot. I love them alot. They make me feel pretty.

"turns out he has a name, and is quite personable." Sooo funny. You kill me.

Teacher talk is fun... and deadly... I've left work 1.5 hrs later than I've intended to because I've run into someone and talked the teacher talk...

I'm guilty of drinking out of the container. With clean classes on my shelves.

I hate dishes too.

In my vain news, I got my eyebrows done last night and thought "how the hell did she almost fall asleep?" during the process. I hope to get the nails done tomorrow night, but I may put it off.

lol, I always drank from the containers when I lived on my own too. Why dirty a glass if I'm the only one drinking from it? :)

Oh, and the ones that seem weird, are usually the nice, and interesting ones. The ones that seem awesome right away, never are, and are quite boring. :)

well... at least you suggested paper plates and not plastic/styrofoam. paper is biodegradable!

i don't see anything wrong with drinking out of the container if i'm the only one drinking whatever's in it.

LOVE the "In vain news"!

I tend to judge a little too, but I am getting better! Glad you made a new aquaintence and hopefully you can keep in touch after he moves out!
