My heart lives in Dili

A blog was due, but I am not really in the mood for blogging. I thought maybe an update would be ok for this round.

1> I went to the dog park today. Stratford is very lucky to have such a wonderful spot for the dogs to run and play. When it warms and dries up out there, it will be more useful.

2> I mailed my Masters of Education application away today. My fingers and toes are crossed. This application does not weigh on me like the last one (BEd), but it is still something I would love to accomplish. It was a hard decision to hold my life off 1 more year for school, but also something I knew I would never regret doing. Maybe school is my life and I have been living it this whole time?

3> Counting down the sleeps until the b/f returns from East Timor. The 1 month back will be a sweet reward to the 2 months gone. 51 left. Amazing how 1 week can feel like an eternity, and how 1 month will go faster than I will ever imagine. then repeat, again and again.

4> Looking for a summer job - kinda. I am not looking very hard. I think that 6 weeks off would do wonders for my mind. I am the type of person that needs something to do everyday though. I become bored quick.

5> the powers which be facebook have been a great waste of time. tripped over so many old friends from grade school, highschool, and life. Not the best way to keep in touch, but at least it is a way.

6> my favorite day of the week has changed for the time being. maybe it is on hold. I normally love sunday mornings more than anything else. I had a ritual that made my week. 3 weeks left until it goes back into play. Really missing that.
