just a quick catch up -
I do want to share with all of you the humorous details of my most recent move, and I will, but not tonight. I have had more than enough time to blog the past 3 days - in fact that may be all I have had time for, but I have chosen to rest. I finished term 1 on Monday at 10:30 am, and have since been on the couch catching up with some lost friends. TLC, HGTV and LIFE all say hi.
So the real reason for this quick yet needed blog. I went out to the bar tonight - for a beer or pitcher or so. I never really go out, so this was super fun for me. I went out with 'the boy' and a friend from school who I super enjoy the company of. Anywho - when we got there the friend recognized a girl she knew from school and such girl came to chat. We were all introduced and she later in conversation tried to remember my name. Well she messed up. I am ok with people not remerbering names - I am horrid at this. The name she called me by was such boys ex. I tried real hard not to let this piss me off. Yet it did on the inside. OMG WTF - of all names to mess up on. Akward much - i guess just for me. I have been comparing myself to her recently and that just struck an odd cord with me. She seems to be a pewrsonal issue. I am well aware that I am with 'the boy' and she is not, yet this was bothersome. Boo to that girl....and her poor memory. The bright side to her night is that she was not the server for my table - cause she would have seen a pretty poor tip.

Being called the ex's name...yikes. That has never happened to me, but I can imagine your insides turning.
I will hope for a huge growth type thing growing on her face.

Well so long as it wasn't him calling you her right? That would be mega-awkward and fight worthy.
g makes a good point... that would make things much worse!! Hey I still call and unnamed husband of our friend by the ex's name and i hated Ex... mind you i've never said it to his or her face for that matter!!
