Wondering how to get the blog started officially, I turned to my phone a friend who tagged me with 20 things about myself. It is alot harder than one thinks to come up with 20 things others may want to know. But in a totally random order - I present to you 20 small chunks of my life.
1. I received a cabbage patch kid named Lotita when I was 3, and I had her until 3rd year of University. She was the absolut best at keeping secrets.
2. One of my all time favorite movies is My Girl. I have seen it more times than I can count and still cry everytime. I prepare myself to be brave when she goes to his funeral, but I loose it everytime.
3. I order a medium double double everytime at Tim Hortons - even though I think there is to much sugar. What I really want is 1.5 sugar and 2 milk, but I think they will screw up.
4. I have 2 pairs of big black boots that I wear out. They both hurt to wear so much.
5. I have 2 dogs - Drake and Gryphon - although they are 2 different breeds they are still brothers.
6. I would rather eat pasta with butter and salt than with sauce.
7. My middle name is Elizabeth, it comes from my Grandpa's sister.
8. I like my steak medium rare - I prefer if there is some blood
9. I realized what I wanted to be when I grow up, after I had already grown up. I have become passionate about teaching, and it has taken over my life. I may never be a teacher.
10. My favorite channel to watch is TLC - I am addicted to a baby story. Maybe by 30?
11. I love art - mostly pictures, especially PTR's - I am a big fan.
12. I don't like ketchup very much.
13. I have a lot of plants in my house - I like to think I have a green thumb.
14. One of my favorite things at my new apartment are the way my orange sheer curtians look against the red wall.
15. I prefer sour to sweet.
16. I have to wear glasses to see the board.
17. The first thing I do when I get home is change into jogging pants. I hate wearing jeans.
18. I became addicted to photography while at Waterloo, I love capturing the perfect moment. I wish I had an SLR to do it.
19. I love sleeping in a bed with all white sheets and blankets.
20. painting my toenails pink makes me feel very girly.
Well that is 20 things. I think if I took the time I could write 100. There is alot to me, but maybe I am not at the point I am willing to share it all. I am not an open person - even to those closest to me. I always keep something back. A little bit of mystery.

Yay you for starting your blog!! It's so true, I've known you for years but have learned a lot that I didn't know about you just from your first couple of posts. I cry at My Girl too by the way, but I haven't seen it in a long time.
I know that you will become a teacher. You're passionate about it and you've worked hard toward it, so if there is any justice in the world, it will happen.

I have one cat. Well, my roommate does. That's a kickass list of 20, random facts about people are the best. I think I'm going to proactively tag myself and compose a list of 20 right this moment.
